  2. Hey I have a 96 year old grandmother and she is pretty much reverting to german, and when I call her she tries to talk to me in german. I correct her, and the I found your gadget. I can write a letter once a month in German for my grandmother and it is easier for her to read than english.

We'll try to reduce the standard size of gadget and add expanded mode where the gadget will be larger.

We had to pass exams at the university but now it's done and we'll write in this blog regular.

  6. You're great, really appreciate this add on. One thing is that could you put shift-enter does translate? Kinda annoying to have to click translate each time instead of shift-enter like some other programs have. Minor quibble though. Regardless, great job.

  7. My only concern is the size. Make a smaller version so it fits in the sidebar. And I'll start using it again, it's very good!

  8. It is an excellent tool, I am very happy for your help: it is simple, easy and very versatile for a tool so small. I live in Central America and my skills is basic, of curse, I am translating these with your program.

  9. Well done. I'm an Australian living in the Philippines. My property rental business attracts mostly Europeans. Your plugin helps so much with my clients. If you can possibly port this for Smart Phones, ie; Symbian for "on the run" help, would be a big help. Congrats from a very fussy guy.

  10. Hello there. First of all I would like to congadulate you on this great tool that you made. I use it alot and it is very very helpful since I don't need to open up the google translator page and can translate directly from my desktop.

I did notice one small bug though. In Windows 7 it happens that the translated text can't be scrolled down. It starts to scroll but keeps jumping to the top by itself, so it is impossible to read the translation unless I highlight the translated text and paste it into my text editor. It would be great if this bug could be fixed.

Thank you and please keep up the great work.

  11. The program does not provide synonyms for single words.

  12. Спасибо за гаджет! Вот бы еще все переводил со смыслом - цены бы ему не было))

  13. Если не включить сразу интернет (windows 7)? гаджет отказывается переводить, выдавая ошибку подключения! Считаю это главным минусом!

    В остальном - sweeeet (:

  14. As of last week, this gadget seems to be having some trouble with the Google Translate API for *any* translation attempt:

Error: Suspected Terms of Service Abuse. Please see http://code.google.com/apis/errors

I sincerely hope that this can be resolved; it would be a shame to see this gadget die-off into obscurity!

  17. Hi all! Thank you for leaving bug reports. We are very surprised that our first gadget has so many users. However, Google Translate API v2 is now available as a paid service only so our and many other gadgets haven't worked since December, 2011. Maybe, we'll make a new version for Bing translate API, if there aren't any similar gadgets.

Щёлк-щёлк, думаю, наконец не буду запускать браузер когда попадается единственное незнакомое слово.. А тут эрор и эрор. Отметье как нерабочий на странице гаджета, хорошая штука, и действительно огорчает что Больше не работает...
